Just came back from the SOAD concert... Goddamn!!
It was awesome!!
System of a Down opened with Soldier Side, and closed with Sugar... with a shitload of songs in between... I *think* they sang almost all Toxicity, Mesmerize, AND System of a Down (Self titled.), plus some songs from the upcoming album: Hipnotize, and Mr. Jack from their Steal This Album album.
The band didn't fade out for a second. Shavo ran from side to side, jumping on amps and speakers. His stamina was really incredible.
Daron looked so mature now! He sang along with Serj perfectly. Serj played a dual piano in two songs I think.
John... JOHN!! He was VERY impressive! He is like the bastard child of a perfectly oiled and tuned ford big block, and a machine gun. WOW!!
My throat is VERY soar, and my legs hurt form jumping. Even though I ended going by myself, I had the bestest of times!!
W00!!!!

| HELL YEAH! The show f-ing rocked! I dont know if this always happens but it was sad, people were throwing crap onstage. Heck, something even hit Serj! But it was cool cuz sum1 threw a cap onstage and Shavo picked it up and put it on. Hehehehe. |

i saw people throwing stuff i was surprised at how many shoes were going around, but i didnt see it hit serj i guess i wasnt paying attention at that point..poor guy  |

Yeah, it was cool when Shavo put on that white cap some guy threw at him.
It was really stupid the fact that people were throwing shoes, beer, and water bottles. I did see when they hit Serj in the foot, but it wasn't like a big hit, the water bottle kinda bounced and hit him on the foot.
I was about to jump into the ground section, after everybody started running, but I held back with the fear to recieve a kick in the balls or something. It was crazy down there!!
When shavo layed down on the right speaker (John's perspective.). It was so cool! He layed on top of it, and he continued playing. He was like 8 feet away from me!
I must look for a jacket like the one Daron first had on. It was a denim jacket with those soldier things on his arms. |
