WOW I just got back and I'm DEAD, but too excited to sleep so I'll write what I can and I'll fix the rest later:

most bands were average, nothing special in my opinion but Hatebreed and Disturbed were pretty good in getting the crowd worked up.....now on to the important stuff.....SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!

Again, they started the show as usual, with Daron singing soldier side...someone will shortly post the set list because I don't remember everything at the moment, but I do remember that they played Holy Mountains and Der Voghormya (The Armenian prayer that is played on the hidden track on Toxicity). Holy Mountains was the most special song of the night for me, waving my flag singing along with Serj and Daron. Very Emotional. It was the best feeling ever. During Deer Dance, Shavo saw my flag and he saluted me and nodded in the middle of the performance and I was so happy. They played SOOOOOO WELL with SOO MUCH energy I'd never seen Serj dance like that before...his hair was in his face because he was moving so fast and he was dancing like no tomorrow....I couldn't believe it was the same Serj that lots of people were bashing and saying he has no energy on this forum, because from today's show, he obviously has a WHOLE LOT of it....Serj was dancing SO much, along with Daron, Shavo was interacting a lot with the people on his side of the audience, pointing at people and stuff, and sitting by John's HUGE drumkit...and Harry Perry (sry if i got his name wrong) came on during Radio/Video....John was so good as well i cant believe how he did it! hes John thats how! I have been lucky enough to see System 4 times live. Each time I think "ok that was the best show I've seen, it cant get any better" BUT every time IM WRONG and they KEEP getting better and better and they keep topping themselves off. They are a TRULY remarkable and special band, no one can touch them.

John - Great Person

Shavo - Great Person

Serj - Great Person

Daron - Great Person

all of the above is regardless of what anyone says.

oh ya and Sako's cousin that I met last time in Edmonton was there too and he rememberd me and asked where my dad was and I introduced him to my friends and he chilled with us for a bit...and I also met Sako this time around, he came to me and said hi how are you in Armenian, hes sooo nice and cool! he was wearing an arsenal jersey!

on our way out we saw Shavo barbequing with his friends from other bands so we tried to go say hi but the security told us to leave so were like ok, we didn't want to bother him so we left.

wow that was so long. anyways, I have pictures from the concert which have been uploaded into the Photo Gallery via ZAk, as for private pics, PM me and ill get back to you.

*THANK YOU SYSTEM OF A DOWN FOR THE BEST CONCERT EVER YOU GUYS ARE SO SPECIAL. VARTZGERNIT GADAR DEGHAK! AND TO JOHN'S FAMILY THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH FOR BEING SO HOSPITABLE AND TAKING ME IN AS YOUR OWN. I COULD NOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE IT*

YOU ARE SO LUCKY. Where was John/everyone outside? I was with a group of friends just watching Shavo barbequing with his buddies from a bench by the fence! I wanted to wait around for any chance to see Daron or John (my idols) but I didn't have enough time. I really wish I had some sort of chance to meet them. All I did was get a quick nod and smile from Shavo. Please send me some pictures!

the area that we were was just behind the stage like outside the dooors ....you were standing where all the other buses were, but i was at the part that was just before the part that you were at...its difficult to see from the outside unless you go in from the stage, because there was a small bridge over water that separated systems buses from the other bands buses/area that you were waiting.....

PM me your email so i can send you pics

Dude, Ak... I TOLD you it would work out. And you didnt even have to use our secret weapon. Judging, though, how much they smoked, it probably would have worked.

AK, do you still have my e-mail address? OH!!! BEAUTIFUL story!!!! Crying or Very sad snapy Crying or Very sad snapy I can't believe your friend asked Serj to sign the Flag. I am glad Serj was polite in his refusal. OI! I'll comment more later. Please e-mail me the pics. That is a beautiful story. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Okay, so, we all remember the secret weapon, and one of us will HAVE to use it for next time...and, by one of us, I mean, NOT AK, who was remembered by DARON!!!!...she doesn't need it. Wink

cool.. it was definately an awesome show.. i kinda wormed my way to the left side of the theatre where they had the bathrooms and the exit there blocked.. that's where they were all bbqing..
i did catch about a 5 sec glimpse of Daron as he headed to his bus from the opposite side when we were leaving.. right at the security entrance to the tour buses.. security let us hangout for a few minutes b4 they politely said.. "they be here for hours" lol... ya ok we got the hint...

excellent show though.. very cool u made it backstage...

Music all comes from one place, and it’s really the same. It’s just different colors and different ways of representing it
