I recently downloaded the live version of Kill Rock N Roll. I've notice that the song could be interpited(sp?) into a song about how Kurt Cobain killed Rock N Roll. People say Kurt Cobain Killed Rock N Roll when he killed himself, or he killed it when Nirvana became mainstream.
Also SOAD has been playing a song by Neil Young called My, My, Hey, Hey as an intro to Kill Rock N Roll. The lyric "Its Better To Burn Out, Than Fade Away" from that song was actually the last line in Cobain's "supposed" suicide note. I'm not saying the song was intentionally written about Kurt Cobain, I'm saying there seems to be alot of connections to Cobain in the song. |

| Well it could be a lot of things. For example when whoever it was killed John Lennon and Lennon was a huge rock icon. Maybe even Nathan Gale when he shot Dimebag Darrell onstage. |

i think kurt kobaine killed rock and roll and changed it into rock he was the first to mushpit and more of the hevy side and and it became rock (rock is more or harder then like the beetals wich is rock and roll). rocks fall and never get back up kinda like kurt

| I don't think it was specifically about kurt cobain, but I think its about the cliche of what kurt cobain did or what happened to lennon. It's all a rock n roll cliche. But I noticed daron changed a line in neil youngs song. instead of saying "Rock n Roll is here to stay", he says, "Rock n Roll has turned so gay". I think he's talking about how Rock n Roll died over the years. I mean theres no much out there in the mainstream that you can really say is really good. |
