| Oh--if the Teronto concert was that great, was there anyone who went there who could bootleg it for me? Perfect SOAD playing is soomethign I positively must here. That should probably go in the downloads forum, but whatever. |

| Well hey if u didnt think they were that great live thats ur opinion and ur entitled to that, but unfortunately people are gonna get mad since this is a soad forum and more than liekly their fav band so just be prepared for that. Im just saying as far as my concert went i didnt notice any time that i was like hmm that didnt sound too good. And as far as LP goes i dunno cuz i didnt hear that cd, but i saw them at live 8 on the tv and some other times and i was kinda like hmm...the screaming a bit too schreecy live than it is on the tv i think...and i dunno i just like the cd better. |

| compared to system of a down playing live from 2002 to now, I believe that serj was better in 2002 as a vocalist. He screamed at the necessary times and added a few new touches to songs. I believe Daron now is a better guitarist then in 2002, but his energy and stage presense was better in 2002 and before. |

Hey, they're my favorit band right now, too. But that doesn't mean that I'm not hearing what I'm hearing. If it doesn't sound the same to them we can have a discussion on that until the cows come home, but what I don't tolerate is, after I take the time to explain exactly why I have cme to the opinions that I have come to, some preliterate jackoff runs in ans says "f0k j00 u r teh st0p1d gay n00b soad 4eva111!11111!11" That's jsut embarrassing. |

Whoa holy crap I just realized--
Lincoln Park played at hte Live 8? WTF, dude? Lincoln Park played at teh same concert as the Who? Good God, man. That's tragic. That's almost sacriligious. Gah, I don't know what could make that worse, besides Madonna playing it or some--oh, wait, fuck. >_< |

i can see where your coming from at the atlanta show serj was flat and less active, but he is also older, and has transended into a much calmer person, watch the interviews from 2002 to 2005. before he has always been fun and enterjetic now hes more like a father figure for the rest of the band. the only time i've seen him perk up during an interview here of late is when he spoke of his home city
but as far as being fucking awsome on stage the're better then 90% of most other bands who play. and thats comparing them to bands like nevermore dream therater (who i saw in the same areana) who have extreamly intense music that is ten times harder to play then systems stuff. don't get me wrong i would rather die then have to hear that i'll never hear system again. on stage they have fun, they take advantage of the fact that every one in the house is singing their songs, and each member has a lot of stress being put in a new envroment every day for months at a time. no band is perfect and in the studio each song may be played for days before its even considered for recording so its perfect. |
