You know its one of my favorite songs on the 'Steal this Album' album and i don't know what its about..It seems like some man getting caught for doing something while driving and gets pulled over by a cop and its like whats going on with the two. Is mr. jack a real person?
Anybody have other insight to what its about? |

on toxicity cd there is something like "System Of A Down thans to ..." and there is MR. JACK so he may be real person... I read it several times while I was thinking about "who the hell" is Azniv Malakian but now I know  |

| u know, mr. jack is a the police..... "put ur hands up get outta the car, fuck you pigg!!", i dunno how many of u are from the city system is from (assuming cause im armenian and im from the city they live in).... cops here are just straight up creeps, they hide on side of freeway/street corners just trying to bust people for petty shit but make them suffer about it. straight mental game.... so immmm assuming its just about how kanving and scandless cops can be. Glendale city is very nicee... just cops are fuckin anale here |

Sorry if this is considered bumping an old topic.
Anyway, about the meaning of this song...I think it's about a drug dealer (or some kind of lawbreaker) who, after hiding from the cops for some time, finally gets caught in the morning when his home is found by the police. . He runs from them by way of car, and eventually gets caught. The song ends with him being cornered by the police..."Put your hands up, get out of the car..." and him yelling back at them..."Fuck you pig! Fuck you pig!" And then bam, the song ends.
I think they thank Mr. Jack in the booklet because if Mr. Jack's a drug dealer, of course he's going to supply them the drugs that they want, and of course they're going to thank him. |
