I have a completely different theory altogether. Mr Jack is also the informal name given to the favourite tipple of Shavo, namely Jack Daniels (and probably the rest of them, hence the thanks to Mr Jack - could be a tongue in cheek comment). So, having said this I like to think that the song refers to somebody being caught blind drunk & driving by the police............could be as simple as that.

i think that knight in a car thing that $oad-obsessed said was a refernce to knight rider, a tv show from the 80's. they used the bass line from the opening credits as the bass line in k.i.t.t. whinch was the name of the car. k.i.t.t. was later changed to i-e-a-i-a-i-o. i'm pretty sure that's right on that subject.

The radio stations said there was no way they were going to play it. Now they're playing it everywhere, every day.
