| i don no where i got this from but im sure that "the Jacks" was aussie slang for police back in the 1800's but im sure u lot probly are rite about there dealer, cause that makes more sence, they did the best version at BDO, it ruled, it seemed to go for heaps longer |

| I have a completely different theory altogether. Mr Jack is also the informal name given to the favourite tipple of Shavo, namely Jack Daniels (and probably the rest of them, hence the thanks to Mr Jack - could be a tongue in cheek comment). So, having said this I like to think that the song refers to somebody being caught blind drunk & driving by the police............could be as simple as that. |

| i think that knight in a car thing that $oad-obsessed said was a refernce to knight rider, a tv show from the 80's. they used the bass line from the opening credits as the bass line in k.i.t.t. whinch was the name of the car. k.i.t.t. was later changed to i-e-a-i-a-i-o. i'm pretty sure that's right on that subject. |

| its realy grate song, i like it very much. i think that maybe there are many meaning of this song. anyway its cool music and the lyrics take you there in this song. and how soad performed Mr.Jack at Astoria was grate. |
