I just got back from the St. Paul show and had a great time. I met a lot of really cool people before the show and whlie on the floor waiting for System to come on. I was right up front I just had one very tiny girl infront of me.
Ok so first of all Hella sucked. I talked to people around me most of the time while they were playing.
The Mars Volta was pretty good. I enjoyed about the first 30 min they played but then got bored. the set could have been a bit shorter
Then System came out. Daron started w/soldier side behind the curtain and then they went into B.Y.OB.
I was on Shavo's side of the stage the whole time and glad I was. He interacted w/ us so much. I cought his eye many times the first time he pointed at me, then he winked at me, he motioned for me to smile (which is kind of funny because when I saw them in May Serj motioned for me to smile, I wonder if I look unhappy?), during cigaro I was singing along and pointing at him he then pointed at me while he sang "my shit stinks much better than yours", then when he went to throw is last pick I was motioning for him to throw it my way he pointed at me threw the pick and I caught it!
Daron came over to our side once you should see his new hair style it is very similar to a mullet! I wish I had pics of him but I couldn't reach my camera when he came over to us and I really couldn't see him the rest of the show. Daron didn't say the superman thing before kill rock and roll but he did say the thing about the purple people before sad statue.
Serj stayed in the middle of the stage and dance around a bit. He talked to us once when he said St. Paul.
I took a lot of pics of Shavo, I also tried to get some of Serj and John don't know how they will turn out. I will post pics as soon as I have them developed.
I stayed a bit after to see if I could meet them but the xcel is a very large venue and they have underground parking for the buses so it wasn't going to happen.

Rocked hardcore. Was an excellent show, although I was hoping to hear Holy Mountains. I thought Shavo's base was awesome on Question, and yes, it was a little louder than usual, and Serj was very hard to hear on that one.
They seriously rocked, was a great show. Can't wait to see them again. |

yep that was the Mullet (well closest word to discribe it) that I was talking about. My friend said it looks a lot like the hair style Charlie Sheen sports in "Major League"
I will have pics of the show posted in the photo gallery soon I am working on up loading them right now. A lot of them turned out blurry so I am not posting those. |

| 8 hour drive and i would do it again!!!! it was the best live concert ive ever been to i was only 1 and a half people away from the front i was right between serj and daron!! i wish i could be oone of you lucky guys who says that shavo points to you or something like that but nothing like that happend BUT I SAW SYSTEM AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!!!!!!!!! |

| omfg.. THEY PLAYED IN ST.PAUL!?!?!? i think im going to cry!! that is sooo close to wear i live, i even went to that xcel place once to see (gag) american idol-wich was absoulutly terrible and i was forced to go to. Im really pissed... but awesome review ur soo lucky u have a daron pik!! |
