guys just to started it off, out of all da soad concerts i've been too, this was the best. THey showed so much energy dat at one paoint all da band members were on floor rolling around.
It was da usual set-list but besides dat they didnt play holymountains. but they made new intros for radio/video and hypnotize.
Before violent pornagraphy, Daron made a few comments about da gov and how we r contronlled by oild. how we turn on da tv and show us rappest, murders and during commercials girls gone wild.
For my highlight, After sugar daron came up to da front row where i was at and kneeling down he strached out his arms and threw and pick at me, but i dropped it. da security gaurd picked it up and gave it to me.
System kicked some ass and theres a reason y they were headlinning it. enjoy da rest of the tour. |

I was there too!!!! Here's my review of it....
I snuck my way down the the front and center of the lawn seating!!! So my seats were acceptable. Overall, GREAT SHOW! SYSTEM KICKED ASS!!! (My only gripe is that they needed to play more from Steal This Album! (NO SONGS!!!) and some new Hypnotize stuff, instead of playing 10/11 tracks from Mezmerize (Thankfully, no Cocaine), as well as the singles from Toxicity)
Also, there was this dude present onstage, playing guitar and joking around with Shavo. He was wearing a trenchcoat and a turban. Strange stuff!
Speaking of Shavo, he didn't say a word the entire show!

Violent Pornography (Daron Intro (adding that sodomy is a good way to prevent pregnancy, hahaha) with MSNBC and Girls Gone Wild and America's addiction to oil as well as the crowd singing the chorus)

Radio/Video (with Serj introducing it in a funny voice saying "if you want to dance, turn on the radio" a few times)
Hypnotize
Lost in Hollywood (Lyrics change to "They take you and rape you" and John had a little drum solo at the end)
Question! (Daron's high pitched intro)
War? (Electronic version, with Serj SCREAMING an intro attack at the economics and the ultimate reason for war being greed and egotism, VERY powerful)
Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits cover with "we are the system, we are the system of a down" as replaced lyrics)
Aerials (Crowd doing ah, ah, ah's)
Toxicity
Suite-Pee (Serj literally ROLLS on the floor and recites the following lyric change "Lie naked on the floor and let the spiders, crawl in your ass")
Sugar (Daron's LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!)
At the very end of the show, Daron walks up to the mic and says "In the end it all goes away, in the end it all goes away, in the end WE ALL go away" and waves his hand as if to swat a few mosquitoes.
Weird....... makes me nervous. |
