RUBY GLOOM:
Right Where It Belongs - Nine Inch Nails
"See the animal in it's cage that you built
Are you sure what side you're on
Better not look him too closely in the eye
Are you sure what side of the glass you are on
See the safety of the life you have built
Everything where it belongs
Feel the hollowness inside of your heart
And it's all
Right where it belongs
What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems
What if all the world you think you know
Is an elaborate dream
And if you look at your reflection
Is it all you wanted to be?
What if you could look right through the cracks
Would you find yourself
Find yourself afraid to see?
What if all the world's inside of your heart
Just creations of your own
Your devils and your gods
All the living and the dead
And you really are alone
You can live in this illusion
You can choose to believe
You keep looking but you can't find the words
Are you hiding in the dreams?
What if everything around you
isn’t quite as it seems
What if all the world you used to know
Is an elaborate dream
And if you look at your reflection
Is it all you wanted to be?
What if you could look right through the cracks
Would you find yourself
Find yourself afraid to see?" |

She has a thread going on in the Song Meanings forum. She's one of my new friends, so...
And this song just made me cry. I was listening to NIN's "With Teeth" for a few days, then I just picked up my pencils... and that's what came out. Then, I thought of her.
Thanks, FGWB. And, yes... I also appreciate the work that you and e-ray do. |

Yep. I'm still playing this song. And I'm still crying.
Trent is one of my favorite artists. I'm a huge fan of his, too. This album is just amazing, and... it's not only the lyrics, but the noise that goes along with it. Everything fits.
I've been depressed lately, too... along with Ruby and some other people on here. Ruby just really made me think. And... it still hurts, but it's really about nothing. People need time. |

....I can't find the right words to describe how I feel now...I hope that you and Ruby /andCharlotte and Darontotallyrocks/ are feeling better now...hope all of you are smiling....
And that drawing is amazing and beautiful....calm emanates from every little piece of it....I love it as much as I love all of the people in the world to be happy....I'm sorry my English sucks... |

No, I think I understand you. Your English is kind of blanketed by your loss of words. Sorry to sound so dull or gloomy.... it happens to everyone. I hope you're still cheery.
Thank you for your kind words, Varteni. The same way that you cheer me up... you make me blush because you are talented, too. Very amazingly talented.
Don't cry, now....
Hey - if anyone wants to pour anything out... besides what's happening in the other unhappy threads, I wouldn't mind it being done here, too. I think, that with everyone venting and searching and being depressed, I think that we'd be much happier just talking to each other. Even if it doesn't seem to make a difference. |

| I've been in a bad way the past couple of months too--must be that time of year. |

I've just noticed so much going on here, and I can't figure out why. I also believe that one thing triggers many others... there's always a ripple. Just like in The Butterfly Effect... in the beginning when they were talking about butterfly wings causing something else. I think... and I'm not blaming everyone... besides whatever goes on in our personal lives OFF from HERE... there's people here venting and thinking that everything is out of control. It affects all of us. Even if the person posts one time and that's it.
I can't explain things... could be just that time of year - it's winding down, and the end is coming pretty fast. But the same happens in the Spring... when the weather starts getting warmer.
It could have something to do with it. Things going on in the world that we think we can't do anything about... that contributes to it, too. It's different for eveyone, though. |

| Thank you, JP. How have you been? I remember when I first came on this site and started posting. You, thesoadguy and Shavo7 were the first few people that I really enjoyed posting with here. I just thought that I should tell you that. Even if you don't come back to this thread. |
