To release some stress of being depressed
Feeling down, less than dirt
More and more it starts to hurt
The pain of failure, pain of grief
So overwhelming, just won't leave
I'm stuck in a hole the world has dug me
Chance of hope is fading quickly
Farther down the hole is created
By a world in which I am hated
Buried in shit, broken my bones
Just back up and leave me alone
Alone in my world
My world that is mine
A place I call home
Because your world isn't fine
My pain is endless
My grief, forever
Someday I will be liberated
Someday I may be freed
But until that day arrives
I'll remain buried in shit
This world is against me
Nothing you say can change that
Everytime I try to look up
I get a faceful of dirt
To the world that you call home
I say Fuck You
So for now I'll go to my world
Where one day I might be lucky
To have things go right
To go my way, the right way, the only way
It should ever be. |

Wow, sounds like your having a rough time. It's very powerful writing, you really convey how you feel.
Do you have music to go with it? That'd make a pretty cool song. |

I don't have music for it.
Yet. Me and my guitarist are developing new riffs everyday and we're on our way to getting a full song soon.
I think the lyrics really reflect the way I felt when I wrote it. |

| It's pretty good. I have a question though, and it's for everyone. Why not just post all your poems in one thread, instead of having a different thread for each poem? It'll take up less board space and pages will load faster. |

hey, you told me to take a look at your stuff on here so i did. your poem is great(really powerful, lots of emotion)... but not everyone hates you, i don't hate you, you're awesome. hope that helps (i don't know if that really means anything to you, coming from me and all)
alot of times i feel like that too...you should try to put it to music |
