Holy shit where to begin..... ok well it was in the Oakland colesium and my cousin took me there as a birthday gift. Our seats were kinda far but i didnt care too much. The first band that played was "Hella". They were Hella shitty lol. After they were done there was a break and then "The Mars Volta" started their set. They were better than i expected actually. The lead singer had some awesome clothes and he was going crazy, spinning the mic stand around and dancing all over the place. Towards the end it was getting hell of boring and finally they were done. System's set started i think at 9:45? but it started out with Daron's shadow on the curtain playing the intro "soldier side". That turned into BYOB and the Mezmerize curtain dropped and there they were in person, SOAD!!!!!1!1!!1"11!!! I couldn't fucking beleive it. they played every song so damn well. Daron did a slow intro to "violent pornography" and to "Cigaro". He also did an intro to "Kill Rock n' Roll" he was like "My my.....hey hey....Rock n Roll is turning gay" lmao Shavo was just all over the place, he was jumping on the speakers, lying down and playing, smoking a blunt while playing... he threw his blunt into the audience!! i want his bluuuunt..... Daron also humped his guitar alot during the show and he was running around the stage alot. Serj didnt do too much but he did have sickass dancing skills. My neck still hurts and my shirt smells like weed and cigareettes and 35 fucking dollars for a t-shirt!!!!!! yeaaah!!!!!!!! Cant wait till i see SOAD again.....
oh and metallica was at the show lol they didnt perform thogh, i think they just watched |

| I went too!!!! We had crappy seats but I me and my friend umm got some other seats. LOL. we were in the front row FUCK YEAH!!!!! Shavo was the best. HE ACTUALLY POINTED AT ME AND MY FRIEND. Thats what really pumped me up. He laughed at us too!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the best time of my life when he did that. I think he laughed because brought a shirt my girl made that said "I Brought My Pogo Stick". They also played Hypnotize. I think where i was sitting thier voices were a little high pitched on some parts but no one else noticed but i didnt care. Serj actually grabbed his cock and he has a huge one!!!!! In one of the songs they were trying to mess up John, Shavo was playing with Serj's face ans Serj was jacking the mic off lol. After, i walked three hours back to my house my body hurts my voice is out my neck is stiff like Serj's cock but it was all worth it. Ohh yeah and my friend punked the singer from Mars Volta it was awsome lol. I want to do that again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| no i was like right next to them in the seats like a couple or yards away. I dont know if it was easy to get into the floor. I wanted to go into the pits but i had awsome seats i didnt want to lose them. People in the pits were going crazy though. My friend was in the pit and he got messed up cause hes not a really big guy, LOL. For Darons hair, if youve seen Hurricane, his hair is like that but a little longer and he had a pony tail. For mars volta, they were watching Hella play and my friend was looking at him giving him a dirty ass look like who the hell does this guy think he is. He was really doging him and the singer just backed up into the shadows. LOL. Then he found out that he was the singer for mars volta and we just laughed. Ohh yeah no one really knew the lyrics to forest cause Serj put the mic up so the audience could sing and i was mad that no one knew. Me and my friend were singing it and thats when Shavo pointed at us. Next time im getting a back stage pass. |

| i dont care i went there to watch System of a Down play. LOL Im not trying to be mean to all the emo people out there though. Im an ass hole too. You can say anything to me and i wont get upset cause im a System of a Down fan. Ohh and he didnt know that he was the singer for mars volta and if he was we would of told him when System of a Down is gonna play. hahaha |
