I did that one with audacity
I recorded the drums with tony danza as he is the drummer....I just used the mic on my laptop and that is why the recording isn't so clean....
The guitar was done by me and I did that by just plugging in the output of my amp directly to my computer. We didn't have a bass for at that time so we got to record again this summer and step up the qaulity.

Thanks for the advice.
I was just wondering what you meant by "tighter drumming", though?
Also I know what you mean about the singing sounds like he is just singing along. Do you think it is because we recorded each part seperately? |

I think its because he doesnt feel comfortable singing,
doesnt sound like a singer!
Recording each part in sections might have something to do with that!
But i think if you record vocals seperately from the band session,
its hard to really let go and give it 100%, because you've only got a stereo to contend with,
as apposed to drum kit and amp ect....
Thats why headphones are a good idea for the singer, cuz you can raise the volume of
the backing track and lower the sound of his own voice he hears, so he will natural project
more when he sings......rather than whispering the heavy parts to get the throat growls ect,,,

| I also just stink at singing if I project too much I will loose the whole note.... My friend is pretty good though I think I will let him take lead and just do backing vocals (i.e. I will be old school daron) "SUGAR" |
