And I heard where famous daredevil Evel Knievel died yesterday.

Bet he never thought he'd make it to the ripe old age of 69. I mean he nearly killed himself dozens of times over the years doing stupid shit.

RIP, Evel.

mhm RIP
That's weird, because I heard the news yesterday, too ans my brother opened up a magazine - I think it's 'Maxxim' or 'Stuff' - and there was an article on Knievel with the headline reading "Evel Never Dies".

Well, shit, go ahead & accuse me of necroposting. (resurrecting an old thread). It's gotta be better than starting a new thread every time someone dies or smth, though, right?

So, seriously, I lost my mother yesterday, (American) Thanksgiving day. Most of my friends on here already know I was dealing with her being terminally ill. Anyway, her name was Marilyn, she was 70, and I have nothing but cool feelings & total love for her. And I will miss her.

I'm not looking for sympathy, because I'm not sad right now. (antidepressants.....making life more tolerable.....) TRUE!!! LOL

Mostly I just want everyone to take stock of your own loved ones, especially your mothers, especially if they are cool like mine was. Be thankful and give them an extra hug. Someday they'll be gone.

*hugs*

I know how you're feeling, Lin. And as you told me before, you have the right to feel whatever way you need. You know I lost my father few weeks ago (RIP dad) and I wanna thank you for being so supportive. I hope I can do the same for you, my friend.

I know both your mother and my father are in a better place now. All that's left for us to do is to pray and ask them to look after us because they're angels now...

And listen to what Lin says people! Enjoy the moments with you family and beloved ones, spend some quality time with them, and don't say goodbye withou making it up for it could be the last time you see them.

**bear hugs**

Oh, thank you so much, Lika.

Definitely, people. It might suck a bit, the power over your lives that your parents currenty hold. I was a teenager myself once, you know? But sadly, they'll be gone before you know it, possibly. Make every minute you have together count. Seriously.

*major group hug*

Well, I haven't lost my mom yet.

But I lost a dear friend thx to stomach cancer last september.
We were quite close, but we got apart since she moved towns.
But I still loved her and I'm gonna miss her.
Smile
R.I.P Eve.

Lin... i didnt know that your mom passed away... i'm so sorry. i'm here for you.

and i agree with what Lin says. i lost my dad 21 months ago now, i was only 15. i didnt have the time with him that i wanted to, i wanted him to see me go to college, then university, walk me down the aisle... see my first child. i didn't get the time i wanted with him, and everyday it hurts just as much, if not more as time passes.

RIP DIMEBAG DARRELL ABBOT

It's been 3 years to the day that this metal guitar legend was shot down by a deranged Nathan Gale in a Ohio nightclub. Dime was performing onstage with his new band Damageplan after Pantera broke up earlier.

Rest in Peace brother Dime. You may be gone, but you are not forgotten.

You can compare us to whoever you want. I don’t care. Comparisons and labels have no effect on this band. Fact is fact: We are who we are and they are who they are
