about putting on a show! Wow, System of a Down did just that on December 10th
2005 at The Gibson Amphitheater or better known as The Universal Amphitheater. I
have been to many of Systems concerts but this show was something to remember.
They started out their set with “Attack” a new hit from their recently released
album Hypnotize and from then on it was just a blur.
System of a Down rocked the audience with a whopping hour and a half set playing
a combination of songs from Hypnotize, Mezmerize, Toxicity, Steal this Album and
System of a Down. I could say one thing for sure; there was a lot of brotherly
love and respect on stage between Serj, Daron, John and Shavo on this night. The
fans were going wild as well as SOAD.
The guys were so charged up that I didn’t know which one to look at, maybe to
much Red Bull and Vodka? I don’t know what it was but it was an amazing
performance that left everyone with their jaws dropped. System of a Down just gets better and better every time I see them, I just
never know what to expect anymore but one thing is for sure I have never walked
out of an SOAD show disappointed.
The highlights of the evening: Daron took a stage dive into the pit, Shavo
climbed up on the speakers so high it made me panic and Serj was so pumped he
started to kick down instruments on stage and these are only a few things that I
remember. Like I said WOW man this was truly a performance that I will never
forget and I feel privileged to have been there. Long live System of a Down!!!!!

wow first comment! This has got to be the best show they've done since the new releases. It was like the old System playing new songs. Who ever thinks serj has lost it need to re-think. Truly an amazing gig!

That concert was amazing....Daron was on fire and it seemed like all the members were really enjoying themselves....My favorite concert since BDO 02

That sure was a great show.. I'm downloading the audio rip right now. But anyway: They introduced a new song called Su-pee.. Which should not be confused with Suite-Pee ^^ OK I'm mean but anyway nice going and keep rocking SOAD

haha^ well, I agree it was a great ending for a great year, this year was system's year. tons of new songs, 2 albums, lots of live shows and many stuff, they just did the perfect ending. Hopefully next year will be even better

at first soad scared me because they looked bored up there, but by the time they started playing needles i knew it was gonna be a kick ass show...and that's exactly what it was!

I just downloaded this gig... Sweet mother earth!!! I am sitting infront my pc, but moments ago I jumped up and down screaming (and dreaming) I wish I had been there. Sometimes it isnt all that great living in Norway...

Havent watched the vid yet but ive heard the audio, sounds like they pulled off a good one, but lets see how they moved on stage. Attack live is awesome

That was one of their best performances to date, man! Btw, was Shavo drunk during the near end of the show?, cos he said sumthin sluggish during Sugar, i kinda sounded like "I LOVE MY BEER!" or sumthin, wot do u guys think?
