Phoenix, AZ Show - July 7, 2006 Review |

Just got home.. my ears are still ringing.. and my head is killing me..SOAD was
really awesome live.. yep they played all those songs from the other shows, it
was really cool when they played "the sultan" or as they called it "we are the
system of a down" instead of the actual lyrics. I was in reserved seats in the middle section, so
I wasn't able to have any interaction with them onstage, but it was still really cool..
During one of the songs Daron just stopped playing and they all stopped playing as well and he said to the security guards that a fight was going on in the pit and that they refuse to play while people are fighting.. so that was cool.. and he said some other random things too about fighting and war and losing our minds and having to take our minds back etc etc, honestly
I cant remember what all he talked about.. I was just so in awe that I was seeing them live..

I was there too, it was unbelievable I loved every minute of it...well except
the heat, by the time System came out my shirt was stuck to my skin and I was
sweating bullets!
But it was cool Serj was like "You guys are brave to come out in this heat, I
respect you all for that" and I love the little bit Daron said, something about
"your children are getting sent off to this war, your daughters are in the girls
gone wild videos...and now worse your sons are in the Boys Gone Wild Videos" And
then when Shavo just laid on the floor of the stage and played away!
There energy was nothing less then awesome I mean I even remember a part when
Serj was on his knees jumping everywhere one the stage...yes jumping on his
knees..
And the crowd was going crazy, hell there was even a fire going on the lawn!
Serj was like "Wow there is a fire, this is a exciting show" or something along
those lines.

wow had too be a great shiow..i like the energy that they have on stage now..better than last year but they were the best in 2002..

yeah, i agree. But the shows are getting more exciting now, and i wonder what the last show's gonna be like. it would be better to get a set list because each one is a little bit different

Awesomeeee, yes every time i read reviews I get even more excited for the one I'm going to!!!! I bet their last one is going to be absoluately insane

I feel ya pain, us desert folk got it bad at Ozzfest, yo. ( Why the hell didn't we think of the fire?!) Sounds like you had a kickass time though. :D

Woot!I was there in the Lawn help starting the fire, its was awesome, it was also awesome when Disturbed called out Emo's...hehe, good show
