My Ozzfest day started when I entered the parking lot and Bleeding Thorugh were performing their last song. After that Unearth, Atreyu, and Black Label Society rocked the Second Stage. I don't follow closely any of the bands but my personal favorite was Unearth (the smashing of the guitar at the end of the show was a plus). After Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society busted his 3 minute solo it was time to go over to the Main Stage.

As I got in the GA Pit Dragonforce was playing. A lot of people were sitting down and the crowd not really pumped up, I guess we were all anxious to see Disturbed and of course System of a Down after months of waiting. After them it was Lacuna Coil with their Italian soccer jerseys. Followed by them was Hatebreed, and this was when the crowd started responding; those in the seats waving shirts in the air and those in the pit really getting crazy moshing.

Avenged Sevenfold was next and I thought it was really cool they played tribute to Pantera and "Dimebag" Darrell by playing "Respect". When they exited the stage I got ready for Disturbed and moved as far front as I could. They came out and really delivered a quality performance. With classics like "The Sickness" "Prayer" "Remember" "Just Stop", and their speech dissing Emo bands that all sound the same "90% of which start with the word "The"", David Draiman had us all yelling "Fuck That Shit!".

Finally the long awaited moment had come: SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Like in their last Tour, they started with "Soldier Side", and went right into "Attack". They played their usual songs:

I've read that in some other shows in this tour the guys in System seemed kind of without energy but I thought they were pretty good. Daron was being Daron, kicking over anything that was put in front of him, shoving the microphone up his ass, giving the finger anytime he could, and even putting on some pink glasses that were thrown at him.
Serj would here and there bust his Serj-dance, the one where he snaps his fingers and all. I didn't really get to see Shavo a lot since he was on the right side of the stage and I was on the left, but he would sometimes come over and play right next to Daron.
And John, John would just sit there in his custom 10 piece drumset and play like only he knows how to. There were times when John would look my way, then I would look at him and rock my head, and he'd follow, it was pretty cool.

Something noteworthy that happened, right after "Chop Suey" and "Lonely Day" a chant broke out and soon everybody was yelling "Don't Brake Up!, Don't Break Up!" to which Daron responded "Oh shut the fuck up. Don't believe all the bullshit you read in mtv.com" .
