Toronto, ON Review- July 25th
Posted by reeferbaby666 on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 - 12:06 PM
First and formost Ozzfest Toronto was a blast, System did not disappoint and put on an awsome show. There isnt all that much to say that is any different but from the last reviews but ill give it a try so here it goes. By the tiem that i actually got to the show Lucna Coil had taken the stage and played quite the short set, nothign to interestign the crowed didnt seem all that enthused. As the night progressed The bands sem to get better and better and the crowd got more and more into it. Everyone was on their feet for Disturbed hwo intreacted and really got the crowd going. They went off on a long speech about how they hated emo kid music and how all rock music was starting to sound the stage and then played "The Sickeness" which got everyone going. They had an awsome backdrop to their set which switched in the middle to yet another amazing backdrop.

Disturbed finished their set and the enrgy in the place was bubbling about to explode as John's drums were wheeled out onto the stage. me and a buddy made a quick dash for the bathroom where everyone was talkign about System. Lol we were arguing over our favorite System songs when about 6 of us broke out singing attack while taking a leak, (in seperate stalls of course) Almsot as soon as we got back to our seats peoeple jumped to their feet and were madly screaming as Daron walked slowly out onto the stage. The whole place errupted into cheers and screams. Darosn face was hidden in the shadow of his hat as he softly chanted out the Soldiers side, the rest of the band joining him in the shadows and then all the lights exploded as Attack started.

from what i had read about all the other shows int he reviews i was expecting System to stop once in a whiel and talk to the crowd, but liek their 2005 tour stop in Toronto their was no crowd interaction what-so-ever, (Minus Daron's very cool Violent pornography intro, and Serj asking us if we wanted to dance for Radio Video) The set list fromt he show was the same as the othres buthere it is once again.

Set List:

Soldier Side-Intro
Attack
