Fair observation. Daron doesn't create technical masterpieces (leaving the question he is not as good at guitar as other guitarists) but he does make masterpieces using relitavely simple riffs (with the exception of a few songs) meaning he is one of, if not the best songwriter in the world today.

Yea, AVM. That is the main thing about songwriting-geniuses. Just look at Bob Dylan or John Lennon.
