Lars was a pretty good drummer especially in the mid-late 80s but nowadays he is kinda sloppy. It's sad.

When Lars is playing air drums at a System Of A Down concert it shows how much he likes them....He really likes SOAD Metallica has been on tour with SOAD, and when Lars was in Denmark (his home land), he was interviewed in a music program called Boogie. They asked him what he wanted to hear & he said he wanted to hear Toxicity.
He is a real cool & nice person...I met him at a meet&greet in Iceland, awesome experience.

Lars is a really a hell of a dick... Just go watch Some Kind Of Monster and you' ll get why... As for his drumming capabilities, I just dunno... He is form a a different school of drumming techs, so I can't really judge him... I hear tracks such as Blackened and say "Oh FUCK WHAT Is hePLAYING?" and then I har tracks such as Die Die My darling ANd I'm like "How can a man be this Sloppy???" (although I love The song... : )

You guys don't know what you're talking about, Lars is terrible.. He's been drumming for some 30 years now and my cat plays drums faster and with more eloquence than he ever could. He's just not cut out to be a drummer, plus yes.. He's a dick, an asshat, a fuckhead, etc.
Hell, all of Metallica seems like dorks after Some Kind of Monster.. I can't even bear to listen to them anymore, it hurts.
My absolute favorite moment in Some Kind of Monster is when he's like *Snare hit*.... Fuck! and throws his stick across the room :D He's such a fuck.
