serjs new album is very great and his new song empty walls is nice and perfect and i love serj

It sounds so familiar and almost SOAD, but yet you can just [i]tell[/i] it isn't...you can tell Serj put a lot of himself into the album, musically and lyrically, but you still feel as if you expect Daron to jump in with backing vocals on some songs. Maybe I'm just having a tough time letting go. Serj's voice does pose a good combination of Self Titled-Steal This Album! era and Mezmerize/Hypnotize era. I think that was something that impressed me the most.

Overall, I'm about to lend it to my neighbor for him to listen and enjoy as well! No one, no SOAD fan should ever have to miss out on Serj's first solo album.

i really do like the album however itis not the true soad dont get me wrong i love it alot but there is a numbness about it that doesnt feel right and ihope they get back together soon cause i miss daron wwwoooo soad forever .XXXXXX

I like some songs such as PTLAPTA, but overall i find it a bit too personal. i like music involving science-ficiton and philiosophy, and him saying "i want to hold you baby" in every song is going a little far. and im not even exaggerating, he finds a way to throw in "baby" in every song somehow. i think he wanted it to be very different from soad, but he did it in the wrong way. i give the album 2.5 stars out of 5.

It's great, but I think it can be better. Althrough after each listening I like it more and more. Walls, Majority, Lie & Beethoven are the best. Elect The Dead!

I love Serj's album and I see the vibe he was always talking about going for. Well, kind of. I know lyrically and what messages he was talking about by seeing/listening to all of his past interviews about it, and I'm quite proud of it. He fell nothing short of what I, or anyone else, could/should have expected from Serj.

Of course, I miss System and words can't express how much I miss them and how ecstatic I will be to see them working together again when and if it happens. I am glad, though, with Serj, Daron, Shavo, and John all working on new projects. Aside from the fact that that means more albums that much quicker, I agree with the way Serj expressed what this would mean; theses side projects will give the guys the ability to possibly walk back to System with new ideas. For 11 long, wonderous years, System members had exerted their minds and souls to come up with some of the most phenomenal music I've ever had the pleasure of welcoming into my life. Like Serj had said, they're like a jar. When you take use your ideas, it's like using the oxygen. After using up so much, you're left with nothing. For 11 years, System had not opened that jar When they left System for their own projects, they were opening the jar and letting the oxygen back in. So I welcomed the "indefinite" hiatus that System had taken, although I fear the possibility that they will not be returning for another System album.

I personally love the album, i like it too much more than mez/hyp,i love all the songs (especially beethoven's cunt), and u guys must know that this is serj's solo album,we don't have to compare it with soad,he wanted to do soemthing different outside the band,and he achieved it, he made a GREAT ALBUM! and i wish he makes another album before turning back with system

It would be better if it were a S.O.A.D. album!
